The Soul Seat has no back? How can it be comfortable? We discovered when designing the Soul Seat that once the pelvis was allowed to find it's natural tilt forward, the lumbar support was not needed. Take a look at the chairs around you (particularly office task chairs) and notice that the seat is nearly always tilted in the wrong direction, as if you were sitting on a slope facing up hill!
How much does the Soul Seat cost? Prices vary according to the upholstery material (leather or vinyl) and various customizing options. Please call for quotes 573-268-6589 Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm CST or email at packmatthews@yahoo.com.
I'm not very flexible and don't do Yoga or Pilates. Can I still benefit from the Soul Seat? Yes! See our page of flexibility tips. You may not be ready to use Soul Seat as your primary chair, but if you can sit cross legged and haven't had knee or hip replacement, then you can help your body sit more naturally right away. The "perch" and leg platform is adjustable to fit your particular situation.
I spend up to 8 hours or more at a desk/computer. Can Soul Seat be my primary chair? It certainly can! Most of our users say they prefer Soul Seat over any other chair, including folks who have used a "ball chair", thereby gaining a full days worth of productivity and healthy focus at work. Soul Seat is the only way to sit that affords you so many choices for proper posture, leg position, and optimum circulation, all designed so you can maintain and increase your flexibility and strength while working. Shouldn't you leave work at least as healthy as you arrived?
